If you thinking about different vacation, think about renting a whole gulet. What is a
gulet at all? Gullet is a wooden ship, very famous in Croatian nautical tourism especially
in Adriatic coast, and a boat that can accept cca. 16 people. But of course number of
people depends of ship's size. By the guests number, 3-5 crew numbers are also included.
So gulet is a type of a small ship, for intimate and private vacations, in home family atmosphere
with familiar people.
If you still do not have a clue what type of boat gulet is, you can read this text and get better insight in this kind
of touristic boats. That is type of wooden boat size from 14 – 35 meters maximum, not type of a large industrial
boat, but smaller and much more intimate.

places we visited, stunning buildings, breathtaking bays, nature parks, historic sites, we got to meet
and spend time with some really amicable people and we truly feel we were lucky and honoured to
experience such beautiful moments.
Working in a travel agency specialized in small ships and gulet cruises in Croatia, I have noticed
that most of clients find it difficult to differentiate between a gulet and a sailing ship. I will be very
honest and explain to you positive and negative sides of both, in order to help you make the right
decision about your next holiday. Firstly, let me just say that I am a big lover of sea and sailing as well.
I did both and have beautiful experience to share.
So, let's start.
If you want to spend a few days with colleagues and friends from work, and if you want those days
to be memorable, playful, interesting, cheerful, like boyhood days, I strongly recommend a little place
called Jasenak, situated at the foot of the mountain Bjelolasica.
I was in charge of a group of 14 people who booked cruising and after that a land tour in one of our Villas.
They booked everything almost a year before the due date, so after a year of correspondence I felt like I
